Veriado operates its own independent product data infrastructure. We import bicycle and e-bike product data from existing interfaces and BikeData templates, map it to the BIDEX product group key and enrich missing information from our own catalog.
Our catalog currently contains 303,468 products. Through our price comparison platforms SuperBike8 and Spofondo we are present in 7 markets – plus our retailer directory and integrations with connected commerce systems.
We turn product master data into usable information for digital sales channels – without manufacturers having to build separate data structures for every channel.
What is BIDEX BikeData?
BIDEX BikeData is an industry-specific format for the structured exchange of product data in the bicycle industry. It supports consistent descriptions of bicycles, e-bikes, components and accessories.
For manufacturers and technology providers, standardized data structures make it easier to exchange information between ERP, store and product information systems.
Veriado builds on this approach: we can import product data from BikeData templates and prepare it in our own infrastructure. For classification we use the freely available BIDEX product group key. Veriado works independently and is neither a BIDEX partner nor a BIDEX-certified provider.
Using BIDEX product groups and attributes properly
The BIDEX product group key provides a shared basis for classifying bicycle industry products. But a matching product group alone does not make a complete digital product record – filters, search, comparisons and product pages need more.
